Go to bed Early, get up Early, win consistently!

“Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”
“The early bird gets the worm”
“If you ain’t first you’re last”
“It is well to be up before daybreak, for such habits contribute to health, wealth, and wisdom.”

~Aristotle

I could post quotes about the importance of waking up early for an entire blog, but it is unnecessary.

Consistency is the single most important trait for successful fruition I can imagine.

If you had a surgeon who does 100 surgeries a year, and 50 of those are PERFECT and leave the body better than before, but 50% are either mediocre or terrible, would you trust that person to work on you?

If there was a surgeon who also did 100 surgeries a year, but every single one was 80% of perfect, would you hire that person to work for you?

Consistency is the secret to becoming an awesome badass. It’s why we practically deify professional athletes, Special Operators, people like Will Smith, Tony Robbins, and the like.

Those people all have consistent habits and practices. All of them share this:

They wake up early and go to bed early.

The people I personally know who always seem to struggle with their weight, with their grades, with their relationships, and with their finances all seem to share the trait of hating to wake up early.

It is not too hard to wake up early. You just don’t want to do it. You simply lack the self discipline to go to bed at an early time or wake up at an early time. You’ll blame your kids for it, you’ll blame your spouse, your business, etc etc etc, but the real reason is YOU.

People who rise above and beat Average get up early and they to sleep early, consistently.

Start it in your own life this week!
Set your alarm for an hour earlier, back engineer 6-8 hours of sleep (telling yourself the night before you go to bed that “I am going to feel AWESOME when I wake up in the morning” and thank God or the Universe that your day tomorrow will be awesome no matter what!) and stop using all electronic devices 1 hour before your sleep time.

Drink NO CAFFEINE after 2pm- caffeine has a half life of 6 hours and will disrupt your sleep.

Upon waking, start your day with Gratitude and say “thank  you” out loud for everything you encounter. Thank God for the great day you will have and watch this work magic in your life.

I’ll end this here, but this practice of getting up early and practicing gratitude has opened up so many doors in my life and allowed me to rapidly progress through unbelievable hardships!

Let’s go get it!!
