BLOG- "I don't have time to eat healthy"
(Is this True?)
One of the biggest excuses we use to avoid being healthy is “I don’t have time to eat healthy” (oftentimes this is used in combination with “I can’t afford to eat healthy”, but it is the same error)
When your truly want to do something, then you have nothing but time to get it done! This also works with money- you always have exactly the amount for the things you actually want to buy.
We’ve all experienced this! If you’ve ever been on vacation before, you KNOW you manage to find enough time to pack, get travel documents in order, double check flight times, get kids ready, get animals to boarding, and STILL manage to get all your work done for an extra week.
We don’t have time, we only make room for it.
Intermittent Fasting is a tool that has a TON of health benefits, but also SAVES you time.
Start with 12 hours of fasting, then 12 hours of eating. After a week of that, increase your fast window to 16 hours of fasting, 8 hours of feeding. After 1-3 months, you can go for the advanced version- fast for 20 hours, eat for only 4 per day.
You can have black coffee and tea during your fast periods.
If you get light headed or literally cannot even, have a teaspoon up to a tablespoon of coconut oil at a time to help you stay sated.
When you do eat, eat good and unprocessed food- meats, vegetables, nuts, seeds, berries, some fruits, little starch. NO sugar, alcohol, or grains.
You can also count your macros, or do both clean eating with macros for maximum effect.
“Clean Eating is What?” You may be asking… We are starting a Whole 30 Group Challenge at CrossFit Ruston and it is open to the public. Feb 11th is the interest meeting at CF Ruston. Call 318-202-5740 for all the details!
Let’s save some time, lose our pounds, and live awesome lives of abundance (and all that Jazz)!
What a time to be alive!
